'Field Pipes' (2026) is a sound sculpture by artist Michele Spanghero that transforms the landscape into an inhabitable musical instrument. Twelve iron pipes, ranging from 2 to 4 meters in height, form an open-air 'acoustic chamber' that filters and amplifies the voices of the surrounding world through natural resonance and—under specific wind conditions—plays like an aeolian organ. The work invites the public into an active dialogue, acting as a connector between the individual and the environment to reveal that the silence of the park is actually a vibrant choir of hidden frequencies.
