Architetture Terrone

Romina De Novellis
Solo show

Through counter-ritual gestures, Romina De Novellis — a performer, researcher, and anthropologist with Mediterranean roots, yet long based in Paris — disrupts the binary and patriarchal frameworks ingrained in contemporary thought.

Architetture Terrone reimagines space — its geography and territory — within the context of a stigmatized culture, traditionally rooted in the land. The exhibition focuses on fragile and ephemeral structures that in the artist's performances become visual and cognitive tools for rethinking the South and the oppression of the feminine.

By means of an eco-feminist perspective, Romina De Novellis advocates for a non-binary reimagining of space that fosters a free affirmation of feminist identity.

Opening: 9 May 2025, from 5pm to 8pm
