For her first solo exhibition at the gallery, artist Marielle Chabal will present an ambitious project titled Elle Chabal, in which she will completely transform the gallery space into a fashion boutique, conceived as an in situ installation.
She will unveil a new series of ceramic works that resonates with her project QUEENS, a film currently in production that explores the indelible traces of patriarchy in our feminist-queer relationships to the world.
Through this series of ceramics, Marielle Chabal examines the injunctions to femininity, consumerist excesses, and forms of resistance to systems of domination.
Opening: Thursday, 20 November, from 5pm.
